Sorry for the lack of updates. A website overhaul will be coming in the next few days.

News 10.25.04

Round one of the touring game is now over and we would like to thank all the bands for being great to hang out with and fun to watch each night. Time for round two which starts in about a week with A Static Lullaby. The majority of the dates are now posted on the site and you can click here to check them out!

A big thanks to everyone who has picked up the new record and for all the positive feedback. It really does mean alot to us that you enjoy something we worked so hard on. For those yet to pick it up, insound.com is running a special on the new record offering 15% off. Not bad at all! Just Click here and enter coupon code: code15 and save big! Wow, I sound like a car salesman.

We leave for NYC in a few days to shoot our first video ever for the track "All The Best Dreams" with director Dale Restighini. Theres a great storyline written and we hope to push the boundaries of video in the same way we approach writing music. Time will tell!

Finally, I would like to add that we now have a myspace account which is www.myspace.com/codeseven. I actually ran across it earlier today which was a surprise cause i didn't even know we had a myspace account. I would have posted it on the site sooner if i'd known it was out their. Whoops! I think i remember someone mentioning it a while back but i guess i forgot. Anyway, I don't know anything about mysapce besides the fact that everyone seems to love it. So go visit and do whatever its is that you do at myspace.

We're packing and almost ready for tour. Some more dates have been added on the Equal vision Tour so make sure to check the tour page for the updates. With the record almost out, we have put together a short "to do list" for all of you to help out with.

To Do List:
1. Go out and buy the new record October 5th!
2. If you live in the NC area come to the CD release party Oct. 1st at Ziggys in Winston. We will have the new CD with us,some surprises in store and will be playing an extended set!
3. Help us by spreading the codeseven gospel! We like and encourage the grassroots approach by simply telling your friends about some new music that they might be into!
4. Go tell your friends again to go buy the record October 5th but this time make sure to mention it to their parents as well!
5. I've got this rash on my back that I can't reach. If you could come over and...ok you don't have to help with that one.

With me being on tour it may be a couple of weeks before I get to update this again, so I hope you all enjoy the new record when it comes out! We worked longer and harder on this one than any other release we've ever done and I think it really shows. This is the record we've been trying to write over the years and I think we nailed it this time. So enjoy and we'll see you on tour!
Thanks Codeseven

We've completed the new record! Finally, after putting in so many long and stressful nights trying to get everything ready for the studio its all over with and the hard work has definitely payed off. To say that were all happy with it would be a huge understatement. I think for the first time we've left the studio with the vision we knew we wanted and then some. Big thanks to Mike and Chris for diving straight in and never looking back. Not mention never taking a day off for the month we were up there to ensure the record got everything it deserved.

On to more news, the new record won't be out for a little while so to help ease the wait we have a never released song becoming available very soon. The song is Suggestive Humans and will appear on the upcoming Volcom compilation "The Only Constant Is Change" which comes out July 13th. If you've seen us live in the past year or so, then you've probably heard us play the song. We recorded it about a year ago with our good buddy Doug Williams (who some of you may remember from the Coalition record) and decided to release it on the comp. This song will not be featured on our new record and can only be found on the comp. Big thanks to all our friends over at Volcom. For more info visit www.volcoment.com.

The time is here. We leave for the studio tommorrow and were all so excited we can barely contain ourselves. After completing the pre-production and demos last week, we were finally able to hear what we've been writing the last 7 months, and it's come together better then we could have dreamed. We wrote the majority of the record on the computer this time, so we were able to experiment with so many ideas and that took us to uncharted territories writing stuff that would have been impossible to do without. Can you tell i'm a little excited. We'll be in the studio the rest of the month but check back soon, we'll be posting pictures and possibly footage of us in the studio.
As long as everything continues to stay on schedule the record should be out at the end of september. Cross your fingers!
